BBQ fish

This was taken ages ago in Colihaut, at the Date Auction. Barbecuing is a national pass time but, unlike what I am used to, the meat is usually pre-cooked and/or marinated for long periods of time before the actual barbecuing.

Dominicans like their meat dead several times over which is something a steak tartar, carpaccio and sushi lover like me had to get used to.

For some reason the embers were glowing an electric purple which was kind of funky.
