Seasoning Peppers

These are a little bit of a mystery to me… they do not taste hot like chilly peppers or sweet like bell peppers… they are small and multicolored and they taste well… it’s like nothing I had experienced before, but neither hot nor sweet that’s for sure.

They are, surprise surprise, used for the seasoning of various dishes, along with onion, garlic, parsley, etc…

This pictures was taken on the balcony of my house in Capuchin, probably in my first 6 months in Dominica. I like the red bowl and the peppers with the green contrast of the house.
