Early evening moonlight

It is always a wonder, for one who has grown up in a city, to be able to actually see the night sky. On cloudless nights the full dome above is visible and oh so clear, stars and all. The moon is very big and bright here and when coming up to the full moon you can easily take a picture with no special adjustments, lenses or other manipulations, as I did here.

This was taken in Picard, just outside Portsmouth, on the way back from a walk to Coconut Beach.
