About

Hello, and thanks for joining me!
I’m an amateur photographer using photography as a way to share my everyday experiences with my family, friends and the wider world.
It started off when I was a Peace Corps serving on the Caribbean island of Dominica and I was looking for a way to allow my family to get an idea of where I was and what I was doing. I tend to get carried away when I write and sometimes over-share my thoughts and feelings, not necessarily in a positive way so using photography as my medium was an alternative that worked for me. And don’t they say… ”a picture is worth a thousand words”! Thus From Dominica… A picture a day was born.
My next adventure took me to Uganda, and a whole new world of sensations, colors and experiences. And what better way to stay in touch with everyone but to continue my blogging journey. The result? Uganda… A picture a day.
Now that I have moved back to Europe, I couldn’t think of a reason not to keep it up and maybe step it up a notch in my exploration of the photography medium. Et voila! Here you are… From Europe… A picture a day.
And in August 2012, I released my first ebook, a compilation of the best photos I took on my backpacking round-the-world trip in 2004, which you can view here.
Please enjoy, share, and feel free to comment.
